​1. Finish the adjectives crossword puzzle. Use a pencil so you can erase if you make a mistake. Enter your answers into the boxes, one letter per box. The more answers you add to the puzzle, the easier it will be. The words share letters. Click this link:

Do not use AI to do your homework. Use your phone as a dictionary. Look up one word at a time. If you don’t understand, ask questions! Asking questions is a great way to practice more English.

​​ We practiced our famous people presentations in small groups. Some students will present their famous people to the whole class on Wednesday. Davida created a slideshow with everyone’s famous people, but we can make changes. It’s not finished. Take a look! Click this link:

Reminders ​​

 

​​​ Buy the textbook (student book, not workbook) English in Action 2 and bring it to every class.  You can buy it in the ������������ bookstore.  It costs $42.

 

​​​ Everyone has a free class this term.  If you want a free class in winter term, you must attend 75% of the classes this term.  This means you can be absent 7 times or miss 21 hours of class, including being late or leaving early.  If you are absent more than 7 times or miss more than 21 hours, can you still take a class winter term, but it will not be free.

 

​​​ If you do not have a parking permit, you must buy a three hour ticket for $3 from the parking machine outside each day you come to ������������ and park in the parking lot.  Put it in your car on the dashboard right away.  Davida will help you order a parking permit for the term.

There is NO class on Friday, October 9.

​​​​Meet with a tutor in the library Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.  You can practice reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary.  It’s your choice!  Bring your ������������ ID.​
