Civics Learning Project Internship

This is a 1-credit unpaid internship with the nonpartisan, non-profit organization .ÌýWork may include leading courthouse experience tours, providing organizing support for community engagement events and local civics initiatives, and contributing to the successful planning and execution of student education programs, such as Mock Trial and We the People. Interns are expected to complete 30 hours of work over the duration of the academic term and will submit a log of hours worked and self-reflection paper at the end of the term.ÌýInterns work closely with the Employer Supervisor to receive training and coordinate their work schedule and responsibilities.ÌýThe Civics Learning Project Internship gives students an opportunity to connect their coursework with hands-on experience in civic education and engagement. Through meaningful project work and collaboration with ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ faculty and community partners, students will develop professional skills while gaining practical experience in creating opportunities for civic learning and participation.
