Why choose Chinese at ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½?

¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ offers a complete two-year sequence of courses in Mandarin Chinese language and culture. Each course is worth 5 credits; the first year consists of CHN 101, 102, and 103, and the second year consists of CHN 201, 202, and 203. Our curriculum uses traditional characters during the first-year courses and simplified characters during the second-year courses.

All Mandarin Chinese courses are taught using the full immersion method and incorporate a wide variety of online and multimedia resources. As you develop your proficiency in the language, you will also build a solid foundation in the richness of Chinese culture.
