MLT – Medical Lab Tech Instructor Qualifications

Instructor qualifications for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) courses except MLT 115:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in related science discipline, AND
• MLT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent, AND
• Two (2) years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting performing testing or in a post secondary education program.

MLT 115 qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in related science discipline, AND
• Two (2) years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting performing testing or in a post secondary education program.
