CEU4092 Light Duty HEV/EV Specialist
Provides advanced training in diagnosis, service, and repair of hybrid and electric vehicle systems. Emphasizes high-voltage battery systems, power electronics, electric drive systems, and integrated vehicle controls. Students develop diagnostic strategies using industry-standard tools and service information. Prepares students for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L3 certification exam, 鈥淟ight Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist.鈥

Prerequisites: Students must meet one of the following three criteria:
1. Have passed CEU4093 Technician EV Safety, or
2. Hold ASE xEV Level 2 Certification, or
3. Have documented equivalent industry experience
Priority registration is given to current Technician EV Safety students. Registration will be opened up to the general public on December 10.
