Details about this class

This course introduces the operation and use of various types of equipment and tools used in electronic technology. This includes electronic bench equipment, schematics, calculators, spreadsheet programs, and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout software. Covers the use of software to obtain and analyze data available with bench equipment, and the use of Spice to perform circuit simulation. Also introduces “soft skills” needed to communicate effectively in industry. 
Learning Outcomes
鈼    Obtain voltage and current measurements with an oscilloscope and DMM.
鈼    Use spreadsheets to graph and analyze data obtained from electronic bench equipment.
鈼    Demonstrate competency in documentation of measurement techniques and presentation of data.
鈼    Use circuit simulation and PCB layout software to test and build circuits.
