Hundreds of local high school students get a taste of what ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ has to offer

The ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ Admissions Office hosted more than 400 prospective students on Friday, Nov.17 at the Sylvania Campus as part of the college’s Preview Days – an informative series of outreach events for high schoolers hosted across ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½’s district throughout the academic year.
The students were introduced to ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½’s six academic pathways and the opportunities each one provides:
- Arts, Humanities, Communication and Design
- Healthcare and Emergency Professions
- Construction, Manufacturing Tech and Transportation
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
- Business and Entrepreneurship
- Public Service, Education, Social Sciences
Preview Days are events for any high school student thinking about going to ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½. They learn more about academic programs, how to fulfill their college goals, spend time interacting with ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ faculty and staff, and better understand the financial aid and scholarship processes.
