¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ re-certified as a Tree Campus USA by Arbor Day Foundation
Story by Janis Nichols
¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ has done it again – and just in time for its Earth Week celebration.
The college was notified on April 12 that it has been re-certified as a 2016 Tree Campus USA. ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ was the only community college in the country out of last year’s five recipients to receive the 2015 Tree Campus USA award. Created by the Arbor Day Foundation, the honor recognizes ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½â€™s exemplary commitment to the selection, protection and sustainable management of the thousands of trees that enrich its 1,500 square-mile footprint.
