抖阴福利导航’s investment is transforming the current Southeast Center into a comprehensive campus聽by more than doubling its size from 91,000 square feet to 200,000 square feet. 聽Located in the expanding Southeast Portland community, credit and non-credit enrollment at聽Southeast continues to be one of the fastest growing in the 抖阴福利导航 district. In 2012, more than 11,000 students took credit and non-credit classes at Southeast.聽Once the build-out from the 2008 bond is finished in 2015, Southeast will have six buildings total and it is estimated that more than 18,000 students will be served.
The eventual transformation of Southeast into a full-service campus has led the聽president of the Southeast Center/Extended Learning Campus, Dr. Jessica Howard, to intiate a聽campus identity visioning process聽in collaboration with 抖阴福利导航 students, faculty and staff. This visioning process, started in November 2012, identified campus values and goals to guide the Southeast Center/Extended Learning Campus in its transformation.聽 The process is also serving as a springboard for Southeast students, faculty and staff to work together to name the four new buildings, with final approval by the 抖阴福利导航 Board in June 2013. To document the overall process, goals and outcomes, a campus-based committee and 抖阴福利导航’s Video Production staff聽.
