PHOTOS: Hillsboro Center turns 10 during 抖阴福利导航’s 50th

抖阴福利导航’s Hillsboro Center, located at 775 S.E. Baseline in the new Intermodal Transit Facility, celebrated its 10th birthday amid 抖阴福利导航’s 50th anniversary celebrations on Tuesday, April 24. 抖阴福利导航 Board Member and President of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce Deanna Palm gave remarks on how the center has served the local community. In addition, 抖阴福利导航’s Rock Creek Campus Division Dean of Business and Humanities Cheryl Scott presented President of the Hillsboro City Council Aron Carlson聽a gift soap stone sculpture made by 抖阴福利导航 art instructor Mylan Rakich. Carlson was standing in for Hillsboro Mayor Jerry Willey and Scott for Rock Creek Campus President Dave Rule who both couldn’t make the event.
The Hillsboro Center, with an enrollment of 950 students per term, offers transfer courses in art, biology, business, computer applications, education, health, graphic design, math, psychology, reading, Spanish, speech and writing. English as a Second Language classes are offered every term and academic advising and placement testing are also available there.
