A growing number of colleges are assigning “common reads” 鈥 books that all incoming freshmen must read over the summer and prepare to discuss in their first week on campus. The most popular book in 2011 in this growing sensation among colleges and universities is, 鈥淭he Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates.鈥 In the book, author Wes Moore tracks his own life, alongside the fate of another man of the same name.

Why is this interesting besides his recent Time Magazine cover appearance? Moore will be the keynote speaker for 抖阴福利导航鈥檚 District In-Service, which kicks off the academic year for staff and faculty. Moore will help 抖阴福利导航 kick off a full year of celebration for 抖阴福利导航鈥檚 50th year that will include festivities at every campus, the grand opening of Newberg Center, artistic and theatrical productions, a gala for the 抖阴福利导航 Foundation and, next spring, the 50th anniversary graduation.
