Foundation surpasses annual goal by raising more than $1.3 million

The ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ Foundation has exceeded its fundraising goal for the fiscal year, raising $1,314,118 in contributions. This past year, more than 36 percent of ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ employees donated to the ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ Foundation during the 2008 Superhero Faculty, Staff & Retiree Campaign to support students through scholarships and programs. Together, faculty, staff and retirees contributed $177, 588 – a significant increase from last year.

“Thank you for your support,” said ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ President Preston Pulliams. “As I talk about ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ in our community, reaching this goal is the first step in our three-year capacity building plan to grow the Foundation’s ability to raise additional dollars to meet the needs of our students and provide support to programs.

“On behalf of ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ Foundation staff, ¶¶Òõ¸£Àûµ¼º½ administration leadership and our scholarship and program recipients, thanks to each and every one of you for your time, efforts and contributions to help put us over the top,” he added.
