PORTLAND, Ore. – Become a gourmet gardener! In the 抖阴福利导航 class, From Kitchen to Garden: a Kitchen Adventure, you will discover easy breakfast pies made of tart Erwin Bauer apples, walnuts and limequat zest; Rugosa Rose brandy and rose hip syrup and quick berry reductions and lavender/ginger lemonade.
The non-credit course is designed to enhance your cooking flavor – no hands-on cooking required. Students led by Vern Nelson, garden columnist for The Oregonian, will explore creative ideas for what to plant and unique recipes for using your bounty.
The class will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 1 in Room 145 at the 抖阴福利导航 Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd and Division. Cost is $19.
