抖阴福利导航 students travel to New Orleans to help rebuild

Story by

PORTLAND, Ore. 鈥 The 抖阴福利导航 chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the two-year honor society, is sending a group of students to New Orleans to help rebuild during spring break.

The students are working through Common Ground Relief, a grassroots organization that has been serving those in need since the week following Hurricane Katrina. The 抖阴福利导航 students will join many other students from historically African-American colleges and universities who are part of a nation-wide effort called “The 2nd Freedom Ride: A Spring of Rebuilding.”

Their goal is to have college students from across the nation go to New Orleans to rebuild during their spring break. More information about this relief effort can be found at . Students will be fund-raising at 抖阴福利导航 and with businesses to find funds to go the New Orleans.
